Brooklyn-based producer/DJ Kyle Louis (fka KLM) kicks off 2023 with a pair of timeless house productions: the dark, atmospheric roller “Visitor” and the deep, sensual B-side “Can’t Get Back,” both featuring thick melodic bass lines, playful yet gritty drum patterns, and a reverence for dance music’s roots. Kyle Louis spent years playing and promoting underground house and disco parties in New York before withdrawing to focus on production. He’s since honed his groovy aesthetic, releasing his 2022 debut, 'Run It Back EP,' on NYC label Fortune Signal.

'Visitor / Can’t Get Back' is the latest partnership between longtime friends Louis and Working Rhythms boss D.D. Curry, who first met as neighbors in a decaying Brooklyn apartment building before a gas leak prompted them to move out in a hurry. Kyle’s pair of fresh new tracks comprise the first release from this new label project from Curry and designer Nic Sedlazek.
